Dear Lee,

Thanks for this posting.

I was wondering if there is any festival on 22 to 23 Nov when I am in Tokyo.

I wonder if the Tori-no-ichi festival area will ahve anything during the weekend. Thanks

Hi, Robin,
I checked the Tori-no-Ichi 2008. Unfortunately, this year's Tori-no-Ichi will be held in 5th, 17th and 29th November. I'm sorry to say that it doesn't fit your schedule.

You might be seeing some chrysanthemum festivals at Yushima Tenjin, Kameido Tenjin or some other shrines in Tokyo.

Regarding the autumn leaves, I recommend you to visit Jingu-Gaien, Rikugien garden or Koishikawa Korakuen garden. You can see these garden on this weblog. Please search by "garden" tag.

or.... How about the museum? I could check & tell you the exhibition schedule of museums of Ueno. Don't hesitate to tell me, if you would like to.

I hope you enjoy your stay.
